WORK PERMITS
Every year, more than 300,000 people come to Canada as temporary foreign workers. In almost all cases, individuals with a job offer from a Canadian employer must secure a Temporary Work Permit to work in Canada and they may also require a visa to enter Canada, which depends on the country of nationality.
There are a number of factors that should be taken into account while applying for a work permit in Canada. Our applicants are typically eligible for the following types of temporary work permits:
-
Temporary work permit for a seasonal job (6-8 months),issued on the basis of employer obtaining a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).
-
Temporary work permit for a full type job for 2 years, issued on the basis of employer obtaining a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).
-
Temporary 2-year work permit, issued on the basis of applicant’s Provincial Nomination.
-
Open work permit for a spouse.

PERMANENT RESIDENCY
There are currently more than 60 programs available for immigration to Canada. Therefore, everyone's path to Canadian immigration is unique and it depends on your individual circumstances.
In our experience, Provincial Immigrant Nominee Programs (PNPs) fit the best for the applicants working in agriculture. These Programs are designed to the specific needs of a particular province to select nominees who will be able to settle into life and work in the region and to effectively contribute to the economy. In particular, ILCAg has been effectively utilizing the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for the farm work applications.
